1985 - 1987: Served on the board of the Jewish Federation of Delaware

1990 - 1993: Served on the board of the Committee of 100 – business leaders

1992 - 2000: Participated when the Breast Health Institute sponsored the annual “Race for the Cure” in Philadelphia

1996 - 1998: Served on the board of his Temple: Congregation Beth Emeth

1999 – Present: As a member of the law firm, Morris James, provided legal assistance to the following nonprofit and governmental agencies: Delmarva Rural Ministries, the Girl Scouts, The Wellness Community – Delaware, the Delaware State Housing Authority, the Wilmington Housing Partnership and the Brandywine School District

2000: Instrumental in facilitating The Wellness Community – Delaware, in acquiring its present location on Lancaster Pike

2000: Recognized by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as an “Honorable Supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness in 2000”

2001 - 2003: Served on several committees for the betterment of the Brandywine School District

2004: Involved with the DuPont Company in Project Pipeline – to assist minority students in the transition process from high school to college

2005: Involved in the Resource Subcommittee of Project Hope, an initiative of the City of Wilmington, addressing crime and violence
